Za'atar Spice Blend


1/4 cup ground sumac
2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
2 tbsp dried marjoram
2 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
1 tsp kosher salt


In a small bowl, combine the sumac, thyme, marjoram, basil, sesame seeds, and salt.

Store, covered and refrigerated, for up to 2 weeks.

Makes 1/2 cup
