Bread Bar Cakes

All of our wedding and specialty cakes are made in-house by our talented Bread Bar pastry chefs. We use only the best, quality ingredients to ensure a great tasting cake for your celebration.

Our cakes come in many shapes and sizes, and are the perfect compliment to any occasion - especially your wedding day.

Below, we provide you with our basic pricing and some additional flavour ideas, but the sky is the limit! We’re always up for a challenge and will make it our mission to turn your cake vision into a reality.

For one of our basic cakes, for 50 guests or less, we require a 3 day notice. For any larger, more custom cakes, we require a 2 week notice.

A deposit of 50% is required to place your cake order.

Basic Cake Pricing

Each wedding or specialty cake we create is unique and can have many variables. As a result, the price of your cake will increase to reflect the level of embellishment you desire. The prices shown in the following charts are for our classic vanilla or chocolate cake with a vanilla buttercream finish and basic decoration. Extra charges may apply.

The charts suggest the number of servings based on a 2”x1”x4” serving of cake.

*Any flowers and major embellishments are not included; they must be customer-supplied.

Additional Fillings & Flavours

The lists below provide additional filling, cake flavour and buttercream flavour ideas. The cost of any of these options will be added to the basic level cake price.

Each addition is an extra $0.75/person. Rolled fondant is an additional $0.50/person.

Katrina Vandenberg & Erin Schiestel

Katrina loves all things tasty - especially if it’s made out of flour, butter, and sugar. She left home and went to San Francisco, Vancouver, and the Okanagan chasing sourdough bread and flaky pastries but moved back because making food for the people you love is so much sweeter.

Erin, adorer of the sticky and chocolatey, has taken her insatiable appetite for sweets and desserts to Toronto and NYC to learn from the best. Now with 12 years of industry experience, and in her hometown element, Erin is serving up a tonne of sugar-rushes.

Together, Katrina and Erin are a creative force looking forward to satisfying your sweet tooth.
